Having been introduced to Bodie Ghost Town nearly 40yrs ago by my late father, I was immediately drawn to its charm, mystery, and location tucked away in the rolling hills of Mono County. It only seemed natural as a photographer that I submit some photos for the Bodie Foundation Calendar contest for the 2023 calendar. When I was informed that not only was one of my photos chosen, but it made the inside cover that included a cash prize I was totally elated! At that moment I could see my father looking down from above, happily laughing and cheering at my achievement. There was so may beautiful photos submitted; I would not have been a very good judge because I like them all!
